I have been in the dental field for over 20 years. I graduated from college in Boise, Idaho with a degree in Health Care Administration. After 10 years of dental assisting I was hired by OHSU to work with the Junior and Senior dental students to teach them how to work with dental assistants in four handed dentistry. I did that for 8 years. I also taught Dental Assisting classes for 3 years in the evenings. Since then I have been in the Administrative part of the dental office, which I enjoy.
I enjoy being outdoors in the summer and knitting in the winter. My husband was on the Mt. Bachelor Ski Patrol for 20 years while I assisted in the First Aid room. Our son has a PhD in Nanotechnology and works with Intel. Our daughter manages another dental office and helps Veterinarians clean dogs and cats teeth on the weekends. Dr. Matin is the best employer ever!
