I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and have been working in the dental profession for over 25 years. Starting out as a clinical dental assistant in General Dentistry, I obtained my RDA license in California and later worked as a surgical assistant in Periodontics for 9 years. After transitioning to the administrative field, I managed both a general dental practice and a periodontal practice for many years. In addition to my dental education, I received both a BA and Masters Degree in the field of Fine Art.
During my time away from the office, I am an avid reader of both non-fiction and fiction, both offline and online. The company of good friends and empathy for others have been a constant throughout my life and an invaluable asset.
